Material and Hardening Process

The base material for our LVD-type tooling is high-quality alloy steel (such as 42CrMo), chosen for strength and ability to resist wear. After forging and rough machining, tools undergo controlled heat treatment. The main body of the tooling is hardened to appropriate hardness levels, while the working surfaces can be hardened further with high-intensity laser quenching where needed. This ensures the tooling resists abrasion, withstands high bending pressure, and retains shape after long cycles of use.
